SOHIGHT & CHEEVY is the latest big name from the Russian Electronic music scene.
This duo comes from the city of Saint Petersburg, and groups two young people: the talented music producer Yaroslav Kirillov and vocalist/song-writer Zmitrek Zhukovsky.
Sohight & Cheevy have each achieved notable success as solo artists, and then together have created a string of synth-pop gems that are alive with exuberance. Energetic, bright melodies woven together with an underlying message of love and kindness are the basis of the duo’s music, representing a wave of modern nu-disco from the burgeoning New Wave scene.
The so far small number of releases, has already been picked by artists like Grum, Anoraak, Bestrack, Symbolone…
