A high-profile artists squad consisting of the best contemporary electronic DJ’s meets traditional showrooms. The opera opens its doors to new audiences, creating the framework for a unique setting at the traditions and modernity found in each new composition.
Electr.Oper is a night hosted by Turbo Projects, in accepting the Vienna State Opera, a totally new form. Apparent contradictions are the interaction between the artist and the simultaneous action on the space repealed. The event starts with a live concert of the trio, consisting of world-renowned DJ Carl Craig on the turntables, and Moritz von Oswald with his electronic live performance and Francesco Tristano on piano. Following the Crosstown Rebels take over represented by Jamie Jones, Maceo Plex, Damian Lazarus and Amirali the stage, creating the transition to a dance event.
In conjunction with the renowned visual artists NEON GOLDEN, the stage, the audience hall and the lodge is with his audience in the presentation included. The audience is on this evening is part of a one-time auditory and visual experience at the highest level.
