I really loved the original song (soundcloud.com/howtodresswell/how-to-dress-well-it-was-u-1), the minamalist arrangement and really catchy melodies was really fresh. It was sparse but it felt complete. Now, for the remix I thought it would be cool if I fill in those gaps in the song and give it a little meat. I wanted the arrangement to still follow the original’s but incorporate my sound palette. I wanted a stronger bass backbone and a more relaxed tempo. I also wanted to experiment how HTDW would sound like if he had a little cold. This is what I came up with. I hope you guys enjoy!
