If you’ve been listening to the development of the VACATIONLAND mixes, you’ve noticed some new things with each release. First it was video teasers, then it was vocal samples, then I added in atmospheric samples and now I’m working to make all these elements not only tell a story, but fit in musically. I hope that’s cool and something you’re into.
This mix has taken a ton of time, and man oh man, has it been worth all the sweat, the tears, and the bloooooood. We had a three part shoot for the teaser in New York City, Florida and on the beach on Plum Island. It went reallll well thanks to ofclouds, chris and the LTs. Look out for the video right here as soon as it’s available. I’ve also had 3 drafts this month, and I usually only do 1 or 2. Time intensive, ladies and gentlemen.
I’ve been editing a lot of audio at work so haven’t had much time to find new music — you can tell by the enormous lack of new content on the zen zone. That being said, I was able to wrap up a sexy-as-hell selection for you to relax to on this oh-so-fine Labor Day Weekend. This is all thanks to your regular suggestions and mix requests. You know who you are.
Anyway, here’s VACATIONLAND August Legalize It. It is meant to represent the coming fall, the end of the summer. I couldn’t have made a more obvious thematic choice, but it’ll resonate for sure, bro.
